What are you riding for?

Lets rephrase that. Who are you riding for? I cant tell you how many people I run across weekly that seem to be traveling along in life with no specific destination or direction in mind. How many times have you got on your scoot, put the kickstand up, and said I end up where I end up. Even when most of us need a a get a way and put our bike in the wind we ultimately know that we just cant ride off into the sunset and never go back.

If your day begins with a journey without Jesus, your trip is ultimately taking you nowhere in this life. Even worse if you were to loose your life the eternal destination is an aweful place called Hell. No we dont like to talk about Hell because the bible describes it as a real place of eternal torture. What we do like to talk about is the rewards in this life and in eternity when we submit our lives to Christ. Come just as you are. Dont wait to clean yourselves up because it will never work. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior right now. He listens to your heart and tomorrow morning your day will begin a new journey. If you made a decision to follow Jesus we want to know it. Call us, email us or come see us. We want to help you with your decision. Remember...He created and loves you. And He wants to hear from you.

Great weekend in Southport.

A shout out to all of our brothers and sisters at Shoreline Baptist Church in Southport NC for an awesome Biker Sunday event. As always pastor Steve Hinton and the folks at Shoreline did such a great job. Thanks again to Ricky Billingsly for the house. We actually had a little down time and it was great. A great message from Rev. David Middendorf of Uncaged Ministries. His message was, do you know the fourth man. Sorry but I can not put any symbols like exclamation points quotation marks or commas. It will kick out the codes on this web site. I often wondered if people read this and think poor guy cant type.

Next Stop Southport NC again. We will be downtown Southport for brother Anthony Buntyns Ministry Azuza Ministries International on June 5. Should be a great day. Be Blessed yall and ride for Jesus.

A call out to all bikers around Greensboro...

Starting Wednesday March 17, we will be starting a Wednesday night biker hang out and bible study. Whether you attend church or not this is for anyone that wants to come and hang with other bikers. Not a place for religious holier than though attitudes or people who think they have all the answers. Just a bunch of broken people that have learned to rely on a source of strength greater than us.

If you are interested give Randy a call. 336-963-3111

Kickin it off this Saturday Night at CrossWalk Cafe

Here we are going into our 12th year as a ministry and we are just as excited as the first opportunity we had in December 1998 to share Gods love in song. We are looking forward to being with brother Greg Moore at the CrossWalk Cafe in Eden this coming Saturday night. The Concert begins at 7 PM and last till about 9. Greg has created doors for many area ministries to share their gifts and tallents and provided a platform for area musicians over the years. We are looking forward to a great night of jamming and worship.

If you are interested in riding with us, we will have many opportunities to participate in rallies from the mountains to the cost. If you are interested in joining us this year just give us a call and we will help you with accomodations and details. The weather will be breaking soon and it will be time to hit the highway. Clean those bikes up, do all your safety checks and plan ahead. But most importantly Ride with Jesus.

What an awesome way to end 2009!

We couldnt have had a better way to end our 11th year. Our final weekend before taking it to the studio included 3 concerts in the Asheville area. We met some wonderful new friends and got to see some of our wonderful brothers and sisters that we havent seen in a while. Saturday morning we had a beautiful day for a concert in the cool mountain air for a neighborhood appreciation day at Mt. Mariah Wesleyan Church. We had a great time with Pastor Jim Moretz and friends. We look forward to working with the folks at Mt. Mariah again in the near future.

Saturday night we returned to a venue that has had a huge impact on Direct Message Ministries over the years. The Encouraging Cup of Fletcher announced that after 10 years of blessing people that they would be closing after next weekend. We cant imagine not having The Cup on our schedule. For over 7 years they have opened their doors and platform to allow us an opportunity to share our ministry and through their efforts there have been many many decisions for Christ. We know that God has a special blessing in store for Donna, Tommy, Beth, Rusty and all the folks that worked so hard to keep the cup going. We will miss you guys.

On Sunday morning we had a great time with our friends at Freedom Biker Church of Asheville. We also got to hear an awesome message from Pastor Mike Wilson who always blesses our heart. We wanted to give a shout out to Jeff Szanto, all the folks who helped load and unload, and the wonderful people who have made Freedom of Asheville a reality. It want be long that they will be in a new building and the numbers will be in the hundreds. Direct Message is looking forward to being a part of it. We love you guys and we are praying for you.

We will keep everyone informed on the progress of our new album Simple Plan over the winter. have a blessed Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday.

Reflections on the last 11 years

It is so hard to believe that we have been going at it for 11 years. We have seen God do some amazing things and use Direct Message in ways we never thought possible. The eternal impact of reaching people for Jesus outweighs all the big opportunities we have had and as far as we know, He is not done yet.

We get so many questions about our experiences as a ministry and if I had to summarize all of them in a short phrase it would be something like this "outside of my salvation, being with Direct Message has been the most rewarding, life changing event in my life".

We have not only been categorized as one of the most sought after independent Christian bands in North Carolina, but God has allowed us to carry out this mission without compromising our family life.  And we get to do what we love doing the most....play music and spread the gospel. I am not boasting on anything we have accomplished because none of this would have been possible without Gods endorsement on this ministry. We are simply just the instruments.

We have one more busy weekend and we will head into the studio for a few months to completely redo our latest album, "Simple Plan". We pray that Direct Message has been a blessing to many in 2009 and we look forward to making 2010 even more fruitful.

Like we always say....Tell someone about Direct Message. But more importantly, tell someone about Jesus.

Be Blessed,

Randy, Dan, Rick, Tripp, Tammy, Richard and Jeff

Benefit Ride to Southport NC

Direct Message has organized a weekend benefit ride to Southport NC for the weekend of October 30 through November 1. Proceeds go to the Lawndale Baptist Church Life Journey Group, Couples for Christ, in their outreach efforts to support the Allumni Group of the Baptist Childrens Home in Thomasville. The cost is only $10.00 per rider plus expenses.

On Friday October 30, we will pull out of Greensboro at 2PM at I-85 Exit 124 at Walmart and travel via 85/40 East. Our stops along the way will be determined on the riders we meet up with. Our goal is to arrive in Southport around 8PM so we will try to organize only 4 stops if possible. Once we arrive at Southport we will check in at Fort Caswell. Rooms are available in the dorm areas and apartments. Please call Direct Message for prices and availability of rooms.

On Saturday your free to hang out, tour the area, or fish around Fort Caswell. We will have a truck available to bring your poles and gear. You are also invited to attend the Fall Festival at Bill Smith Park on Saturday. There are events scheduled throughout the day including concerts by Direct Message and other groups.

On Sunday, we invite riders to participate in the morning services at Shoreline Baptist Church and we will head home around 2PM.

We would love to have you or your group ride with us. It will hopefully be a great weekend before the cold weather sets in. Give us a call at 336-963-3111 to make arrangements or to get more details. We look forward to the fellowship.

Uncaged Biker Weekend

We are excited about this coming weekend and looking forward to the events that Brother David Middendorf, Pastor Tim, and all the folks at Uncaged Biker Ministries and Powerline Church have in store. We had a great time last year and we are glad to be back. To check out the full details go to www.uncagedministries.org. Direct Message will be in concert Saturday night at 7PM and providing some Praise and Worship on Sunday morning for the service.

Our concert Saturday night will feature a mix of our newest album "Simple Plan" with some of the requested favorites of our project "I Am Saved". And yes, if you hang around till the end we will close out with Free.

After the concert Saturday night, we hope to participate in the night ride....weather permitting. This is a cool ride as hundreds of bikes roar through Elon and practically every intersection will be protected by Police and Fire personnel. I think David said they will even have a game where the riders put targets on the windshields and judge the bike with a bug closest to the bulls eye. How cool is that?  Sunday will be a great day too as we have heard great things about the speaker Sam Barber. We look forward to watching God move and seeing the lives of people changed forever. After the mornings service there is another day ride and it will have even more bikes than the night ride.

We hope to see you this weekend and lets be praying for the visitors and for God to do a mighty work.

Upcoming Events

Summer is over and for a group of beach bums this can be somewhat depressing. But with the fall season comes some great events and we are excited to see what God has in store. Uncaged Biker Ministries will have its annual weekend at Powerline Church of the Nazarene in Burlington NC. We always love working with David Middendorf, Pastor Mike and the wonderful folks there at Powerline. This year Direct Message will provide a concert on Saturday night as well as the praise and worship on Sunday morning for Biker Sunday. We have tentative plans to shoot a music video during the concert on Saturday night so come out for a great weekend of bikes, preaching and music.

We have been invited back to New Covenant Wesleyan Church for their annual Tail Gate Sunday. This is an awesome event! Direct Message gets really excited because just a few feet from where we will be playing is rows of cars and trucks with folks cooking up their best tail gate specialties. Look out folks, Direct Message is bringing the whole crew for this one. Which reminds me? Is it ironic that our road crew shows up for festivals and events that has food lined up? We need to check into this.

As far as our album goes, we are getting close. Hopefully we can have it before too long but I have learned my lesson about projecting a date. Well keep you posted.

Have a great day and may the God of wonders walk with you in peace and love.

Later,

Randy

Bikers for Christ in Goldsboro

We had a beautiful ride Saturday and a great time for the Good, The Bad, and The Ugly event at Herman Park in Goldsboro. We heard some great bands and enjoyed a wonderful day as the weather was perfect. Thank God for all of the men and women who work through Bikers for Christ to faithfully spread the Gospel to riders and non riders. We would like to send a special thanks to Gilbert Baker and all the folks of the Wayne County Bikers for Christ who worked so hard to bless so many people.

We will give you an update soon on our new album "Simple Plan". Please pray for Direct Message as we seek His will through our ministry. 2009 has been a tough year for everyone and we are not exempt. We currently have some maintenance needs for our bus that could be costly and our equipment is in need of repair or replacement. If you would like to make a tax deductable donation to Direct Message, please make your checks out to Piedmont Baptist Association and make a note at the bottom for Direct Message Ministries. Your gift will be greatly appreciated and used for the glory of God. Thank you Lord for the folks who given so generously over the years and we pray for an abundance of your blessings on those who help keep Direct Message going.

Be Blessed,

Direct Message

Album Update

Direct Message has been on a glorious ride for the last 11 years and we honestly cant see a slow down any time soon. We are already booking events for 2010 and by Gods grace we will carry on this mission that He has endorsed. One of the great things about being independent is the freedom from deadlines set by promoters, labels and management groups but with that comes the pressure of trying to balance the studio and bookings. The project due to be released by June 1 has had a few setbacks and because of this very balancing act, we have had an opportunity to go back in and redo some of the tracks that we were not satisfied with. Rick has also been busy mixing what we have and the changes will make this long awaited project even better.

When we started recording last year we named our future album Paradise Ticket after the rewrite of Eddie Moneys Two Tickets to Paradise. As new songs came into our repertoire the response to our rewrite of Lynyrd Skynyrds Simple Man has been awesome, therfore we have decided to make our new project Simple Kind of Plan. As far as setting a projected date, we are pushing it to July but we will keep you posted. If you would like to recieve email updates about the new project or any Direct Message news articles please email us at info@directmessage.org

We are heading to Shallotte, NC this weekend for a great biker event in Shallotte Park. The Brunswick County Motorcycle Enthusiast do some wonderful things for the kids in that community and we are honored to be a part of their events.

We will keep you posted on all of the exciting events happening. We are praying for those that made decisions at the tent of Carolina Faith Riders in Myrtle Beach last week. They are reporting over 250 decisions for Christ and that is just awesome! God is still working and moving. Be Blessed.

Another Great Weekend

We run into so many friends, or should I say family, old and new when we are on the road. We are so humbled by the hospitality of those folks who just turn over a house to us or let us just invade their property as though we owned it. The largest expense we have for a group our size is the hotel cost and if we can find a floor somewhere that has access to a shower then we try to save those expenses to the venue we are traveling to. The truth is, if we had to add on the hotel cost for 2 nights for 10 to 12 people many venues wouldn’t even have a budget to cover such a cost. But what amazes me is the folks who tell us to just move in with them or folks who have real estate that is unoccupied and they just give us the key.

Special thanks go out to Ricky Billingsley and Deanna Maready who did just that over the weekend. We had a great day in Wallace for the Way Riders Bike Day and there was a good turnout of bikes. Deanna was just awesome as always as we crashed her crib on Friday night. Not only did she open up her house to us, she insisted on taking the couch so that we would have one more bed. I''m telling you, that can only be the love of God. We had a great time, other than getting caught in a shower right at the end of our set. Thank God for tents.

On Saturday night we stayed in Oak Island and Ricky had a house just a few blocks from the ocean. He just handed us the key like he did last year. I don’t know about other folks but when I look at this bunch I am traveling with, I am not sure I could do that. I’m just kidding. Thank you Ricky! You made it possible for us to be a part of Shorlines event.

On Sunday morning we had one of those special days when the Holy Spirit moved in and blessed with His presence and with a beautiful day. A special thanks goes out to Pastor Steve Hinton of Shorline Baptist Church and all the folks with Shoreline that made the Sunday Bike Day go so smoothly. We were blessed with a great service and as always David Mittendorf of Uncaged Biker Ministries delivered another powerful message. We look so forward to his event in the fall at Powerline Church in Burlington. You can check his ministry out at  www.uncagedministries.org .

Thanks again for all of the families who support Direct Message with your giving, your love and your prayers.

New Vision Fellowship and Maggie Valley

The last 2 weeks have been just amazing and we are in awe at the mighty work of the Father. We had an awesome service at New Vision Fellowship in Madison as we kicked off year number 11. The entire service was centered on having hope in Jesus Christ and I know that many people were encouraged by the movement of His Holy Spirit. The scriptures the puppet ministry and even the songs seem to center around Isaiah 40 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint.

The world is full of people that have little hope in escaping the problems they are facing. Even those who have no financial, physical or mental problems are walking in a darkness that robs them of their joy. If the unsaved people of this world could only see that God wants us to have real peace and joy that comes only by trusting and serving Him. Even we as believers can easily be caught walking in dark only to find out that our eyes are just closed. If Christians can’t walk in joy and peace…then who can?

We want to say a special thanks to Jeff Szanto with Bikers Outreach of Asheville, Pastor Mike and all the wonderful folks with Freedom Biker Church for allowing us to be a part of their kickoff weekend. We would also like to thank First Baptist Church of Maggie Valley for their willingness to open their doors for this event. Through your efforts 4 bikers came to Maggie Valley as unbelievers and went back home as new creatures 2 Corinthians 5 17.

We sang 5 sets over the weekend and threw in a concert at Encouraging Cup in Fletcher and as exhausted as we were when we rolled back into Greensboro, we were blessed beyond words at what God had done. He is so good to us and we thank Him for the privilege of working for Him.

Kickin it off at New Vision Fellowship

I cant tell you how excited we are to be kicking our 2009 season off. We have some great events lined up this year and it all kicks off this Sunday at New Vision Fellowship in Madison for their annual Biker Sunday. Last year we had the privilege of being a part of their great event and I am not sure who got the most blessings...Direct Message or the folks at New Vision. For weeks we received emails and letters from folks who said they were blessed and I just cant tell you what that means to us.

We never set out on this journey looking for mans praises and would never look at our ministry as a business to generate money. And that will never change!  But through all of the expenses and preparation it is worth every penny to see one soul saved or one person blessed by something that God chooses to do through us. This is the most humbling feeling in the world because every one in our ministry knows, that had it not been for the saving grace of Jesus most of us would probably not even be alive today. New Vision is one of those places you just walk in and sense that the Holy Spirit is in control and God is going to do something great. I cant think of a better way to start it off. We are praying the weather holds off and that there is a good turnout, but more than anything, we just want Jesus to be glorified through every song and every word.

If you are in the Madison area, come out for a great day. Or if you are in the area looking for an awesome church, with an awesome vision, go visit Paul Hooker and the folks at New Vision. They have a new sanctuary being built and I know they are looking to fill it up with people who desire transparent worship and with folks who have a vision for reaching the lost. See You at New vision!

Randy

New Album Release Date

2009 has started as quick as 2008 ended and it looks like its going to be a great year. Richard Johnson is back at the bass and everyone is pumped because we are just about half way through our new project  Paradise Ticket. In our next news posting we will give a short rundown on the songs that will be included and a little bio of the origins. The price is $10.00 and that includes shipping.

Our projected date for the release of Paradise Ticket is May 1 2009. We will keep you informed as things progress. Please keep us in your prayers as we seek Gods will through this project and through our ministry. Blessings.

 Good things to come...

We just wrapped up the few weeks we had lined up for this Fall and we thank God that everything turned out OK. This has been somewhat of a trying year, our 10th year as a ministry, but we haved worked through the hard times and God has shown us that we are not ready to slow down. We were first challenged to travel this Fall without our number one man who was on a 4 week European Vacation. We want mention any names but his initials are Tripp Caines. For 10 years he has been producing the sight and sounds of Direct Message and I pray that we never have to do it again without him.  We then had to replace our Bass player who moved back to Florida. But we were truly blessed to have our former bass player, Richard Johnson return back just in time.

A special thanks to Glen and Deana Totherow and all the folks at Second Baptist Church in Lancaster SC. You guys are such a blessing and we appreciate your hospitality and friendship as always. The next time we come we promise to say Lancaster correctly.

We appreciate David Middendorf and all the folks at  Uncaged Outreach Ministries and Powerline Church. You guys have a special ministry and a special annointing to reach people for Christ. We are looking forward to next year already. We plan on being there for the entire event and hopefully the weather will be better too.

Direct Message has been blessed over the years to have some support and by Gods Grace we have been self supportive now for 5 or 6 years. But we have never had someone to help us the way Keith and Marty Richardson have over the last year. These guys have bought us banners, given us bottled water, made numerous contributions and supported us with prayer like noone else has. All we can say is thanks guys. We love you and you know that Gods work has been multiplied through your gifts. Most of all, thanks for your friendship.

We recently had our first annual bike rally and benefit ride to help our friend Donnie Suggs. A special thanks to New Covenant  Wesleyan Church in Pleasant Garden for letting us have the event at your location. The turnout was not what we expected but hopefully this is something we can grow on. I will be posting more about New Covenant and some other ministries in a few weeks.

We have some great things to look forward to in 2009. For now we are going to regroup and spend the winter in the studiobecause we have a lot of catching up to do. We will try to keep our schedule current and hopefully by the end of February we will be releasing our 2nd Rewite Album and our first original Praise and Worship album. Please keep us in your prayers. God Bless. Randy, Dan, Rick, Tammy, Jeff, Richard, Tripp and Dean.

Freedom Biker Church...An amazing work by God!

We just returned from Freedom Biker Church in Angier NC and it was a great day! God is doing some amazing things there and we are so thankful that we were asked to be a part of there 2nd annual open house. The church is quietly nestled on some beautiful farmland south of Raleigh and what appears at first to be a large neatly kept mechanics shop or a professional racing garage soon transforms to a parking lot filled with hundreds of motorcycles and building full of Christian bikers. We not only heard some awesome music from the Freedom Church Praise Band and our brothers from Second Chance, but we were privileged to see a Baptism of 16 members, a marriage proposal and a wonderful Spirit-filled sermon from Brother Mike.

We have said many times that Christian bikers are some of the most transparent people you will ever meet, but to see a cooperate worship environment specifically designed to target bikers and to hear and see the lives that have been touched through this vision is simply amazing. The good news is that more biker churches are coming and probably to a town near you. Whether you ride or not, you will want to check out this unique ministry if you are ever in the area.

An awesome weekend at Ocean Isle Beach...

Shouts out to Jerome Munna and his beautiful wife Shawnna for allowing us to be a part of the Brunswick County Toy Run. We were treated with wonderful accomodations at Ocean Isle Beach that was amazing and we enjoyed a special weekend of fellowship and rest. We also want to say thanks to Scott for making it possible. We have decided that we want to be a full time beach ministry. On Saturday there was a great turnout of Motorcycles, Show Cars and Racing Lawn Mowers along with a beautiful gazebo for us to play. We pray that someone was blessed and that Christ was lifted up through our ministry. Blessings to all our new friends with the Brunswick County Motorcycle Enthusiast.

Another great weekend of Biker events...

We are asked many times if Biker Rallies are the only events we sing at anymore. We have seen our ministry change and grow over the years and we know we are right where God wants us to be. To answer the question at hand, we do still sing at church worship services, youth events, crusades and revivals. However, we have fell in love with the many Biker ministries that call on us and like we have always said, you will never find more transparent, real people. Just like the testimonies from Direct Message band members, we meet many people that understand Grace in a different capacity. I am not saying that you have to live like the devil to appreciate Grace, but there is much appreciation to our Lord for saving us from the clutches of a life in the gutter and given a brand new beginning in Jesus Christ.

Many weekends we find ourselves traveling as hard as we can go from one event to the next, and it is easy to get so caught up in the work of ministering that we neglect our own food. We are thankful to the many pastor friends that feed us with Gods word at the events we travel. As much as we miss our own churches and church families, we are thankful that Gods word is universal. On May 3 we had a great day in Wallace NC. Way Riders Motorcycle ministry had a good showing for their event and we are thankful to Deanna Maready and those folks for inviting us. On May 4 we were at Shorline Baptist Church in Southport NC and we were so blessed. Not only did we get to see our Faith Rider friends but we were blessed to hear the awesome ministry of David Middendorf from Uncaged Outreach Ministries. You can find out more about him at www.uncagedministries.org. A special thanks to David Hicks, Pastor Steve Hinton and all the wonderful people at Shoreline for your hospitality.

As promised, we will be writing about some special ministries in the near future that we have been so blessed to work with over the years. We are excited for our friends JD and Kelly Tew from Freedom Biker church and the awesome band that he plays with called Second Chance. To get a sneak peak check out www.secondchancemm.org. More soon.

We will check back soon. Again, thanks to those folks that support our ministry. You are blessing people that you cant imagine. And like we always say tell someone about Direct Message. But more importantly tell someone about Jesus.

Thanks to New Vision Fellowship.....

.....and the wonderful people we met at the Biker Sunday event. There was a wonderful Spirit of the Lord and we praise God for the souls that were saved. We could never put a price tag on what God has allowed us to do over the years and whether it is 200 people or just 1 at a time, we are just thankful that God would allow us the opportunity to carry His message in song. New Vision had an awesome puppet ministry and praise team to kick things off and from there on it was just sit back and let God work. I think we were aware that a special day was going to take place when we rolled in shortly after 7AM and began setting up. Rick even mentioned to me that it was going to be a good day when we were doing a sound check. It was a great blessing to meet Franks wife Michelle too. Since Frank has been with us he has not only brought a professional background with Jeremy Camp and Sonic Flood, but he has added a new excitement to Direct Message that something bigger is getting ready to happen.

We regret to inform our friends in Elizabeth City that due to health problems with the team members at the Salvation Army, our upcoming event scheduled for April 19 and 20 will be postponed till the fall. We will keep you updated. To all of our new friends with Carolina faith Riders, we cant express enough our thanks for letting us be a part of a wonderful weekend in Myrtle Beech. What an awesome moving of Gods Spirit and some of the best messages we have ever heard. More about Carolina Faith Riders in North and South Carolina, Freedom Biker Church, Kelly and JD Tew, Dale Brooks and Sammy Gilbreath to come.

Would you consider helping Direct Message financially?

Before I begin explaining our needs financially, let me begin by praising God and thanking those of you that support our ministry faithfully and for the kindness of so many people who have shared our vision over the years by giving of monthly support. God has blessed us by seeing that all provisions have been met and all expenses have been covered by the venues that call on us and support we receive. However, we have come to sort of a crossroad where much of our equipment is showing the natural wear and tear of road work and we have found ourselves wandering how long we can continue using what we have.

It just never hurts to ask and that is why I am posting this. For those of you that know our ministry you know our heart and passion is winning souls. That will always be our primary focus as a band and a ministry. If God puts it on your heart to help us please contact me at 336-963-3111 or raustin001@triad.rr.com. As always, tell someone about Direct Message, but more importantly, tell someone about Jesus. We love You!        Randy

Direct Message would like to say thanks to......and welcome to.

First we want to say thanks to DeVane Burnette, as he has been one awesome bass player. DeVane has done well to jugle a growing business, family, church and a crazy schedule with Direct Message. DeVane will be missed although we hope that he can make some trips with us occasionally. Thanks for your sacrifice and time.  We Love you Bro!

We have prayed for someone to fill the bass position for a few weeks now, and out of nowhere comes an amazing guy that will also be a great asset to Direct Message. Frank Faccioli brings years of background as a studio and on stage musician, working with artist like Jeremy Camp and Sonic Flood. We know that he also has a heart for reaching people for Christ and with this key ingredient he will be a great addition. Welcome aboard Frank.

Direct Message is currently auditioning one new member.....

Direct Message is currently auditioning one new member to  fill-in on bass, rhythm guitar and help with stage production. If you know of anyone that has a heart for ministry and would be interested, please have them call Randy at 336-963-3111. This is not a paid position, however, God has blessed us so that all traveling expenses are paid. The ideal candidate would have background in Classic Rock and Praise and Worship.

Thanks for a great year. 2008 marks our 10th year as a ministry....

Thanks for a great year! 2008 marks our 10th year as a ministry and we thank God for being so good to us. As we look back over the last 10 years we are amazed at the opportunities that we have had and we are even more excited for what lies ahead. Over the years we have had the privilege to share the gospel of Christ through music and testimony to thousands of people, and though we can not take credit for anything that God has done through us, we are wanting to hear back from some of you. If Direct Message has been a blessing to you or if you have made a decision through our ministry, we are asking you to let us know. We are making a link on our web sight for testimonials, and we would love to hear how God touched you through our music, speaking, or testimonies. We just want to brag on God for allowing a group of misfits to accomplish His work. Just email us at info@directmessage.org or raustin001@triad.rr.com. We will post your thoughts and comments sometime in late January or early February.

Thanks again to all of our new friends in Christ for your support and encouragment. We have no plans on slowing down because 08 looks to be a busy year. Please continue praying for this ministry as we seek opportunities to reach the lost.
